wednesday had a similar start to tuesday, up at 7 am to see phil off, then lazed around to catch up on watching project runway. after hitting the pool and eating some leftover pizza for lunch (okay, i think i've had enough pizza now), i was off to visit the
mission san xavier del bac, just 15 minutes from my hotel on the closest Indian reservation.

i then visited the
arizona-sonora desert museum, almost an outdoor zoo, botanical garden, and museum wrapped up into one. both of these locations were highly recommended in my (most-of-the-time) trusty AAA book. here are the highlights of this out-of-the-ordinary "museum:"

i really felt like a pioneer trekking through the desert on my own. until i saw this, and realized that the real pioneers would be disgusted with all of us.

wildlife photos to come...blogger is acting weird today, so i'll post more tomorrow.
